2 Wild Karting Shines
on a Rainy Day!
With the 2nd
round of the Pro Kart Challenge event at Willow Springs Raceway, 2 Wild
Karting prepared for the wet conditions. The weather was for
the most part an "all wet set up" rain race.
In S2, round one
winner and current points leader Billy Musgrave (CRG) was the early challenger
until Ryon Beachner (Tony Kart)
was able to take over the second spot. Beachner then ran the leader
down and took the lead on lap 13, then ran away to grab the win with a
12 second gap on his Tony Kart. Meanwhile Corey Neveau (Tony Kart) locked down the
third spot on the podium for his S2 debut.
In the new S3
class, Steve Berg (Arrow)
scored a solid 3rd place.
The S4 featured
three-time SKUSA SuperNationals winner Jeff Littrell (Tony Kart) as he went
wire-to-wire to score the victory by over two-seconds. Willy Musgrave (Arrow) and Wayne Mello (Tony Kart) battled for the next
two podium positions once they overhauled Dunford in the early stages
of the 20-lap main event.
In the S4
Magnum class Marc Lewis (Kosmic)
secured a 3rd place finish after a long battle with last years champion.
Troy Butts (CRG) rounded off the G1 podium
with a solid 3rd place after a hard fought race.
In TaG
Masters Allan Svela (Tony Kart)
finished in 2nd place.
With these great
finishes by the 2 Wild Team, it goes to show that even bad weather
doesn't slow us down!
